Merry Christmas! Here Are Some Presents From The Lord

Don't think you have anything under the tree? Look again!

Disclaimer: I’m a newly baptized Christian and I’m sure there are millions of presents that the Lord gives out every single second. For me, I thought I would list some gifts that I’ve received lately. It’s a quick post because you and I (and Santa!) do have to get those gifts under the tree.

Merry Christmas! It’s the time of the year when everyone is worried about putting wrapped things under trees and into large socks that hang in front of fireplaces or off banisters. Did you get the right one? Will they love it? Did I keep that receipt?

So yesterday morning it occurred to me that every day we get gifts from our Father, the Lord Jesus Christ, and I felt like sharing a few in a post not only as a reminder for you the reader, but for myself as well.

A few examples of Christmas gifts from the Lord:

• Gratefulness

• Faith

• Redemption

• Love

• Suffering

• Discernment

• Peace

• The Word

• John 3:16 - "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life”

• Laughter

• Babies

I’m sure there are so many more that you’re probably thinking about the many I missed. Want to add some below as a reminder for me? I would love that!
